Documents List for Mass Legalization: Applicants Seeking For Asylum

List of Documents for International Protection Applicants

1. Application form EX-31 for each applicant (main applicant and family member, including children)

2. Full copy of valid passport (there are exceptions for citizens of Belarus and Venezuela) or cédula de inscripción

3. Proof of asylum application submission before January 1, 2026

4. Documents confirming entry to Spain before January 1, 2026 (passport stamp, entry declaration, boarding pass, etc.)

5. Documents confirming continuous residence in Spain for at least 5 months at the time of application, for example:

• historical registration certificate (certificado histórico de empadronamiento) for 5+ months

• invoices for home internet/mobile phone/utilities

• medical reports and certificates

• bank statements with transactions in Spain

• visits to Spanish government agencies

• transport cards/gym memberships/tickets for events and trips within Spain, etc.

5. Criminal record certificates from country of origin and all countries where the applicant resided for >6 months during the last 5 years before entering Spain certificate issue date not older than 3 months

Additionally for family members:

• proof of family relationship: marriage/birth certificate jurado translation + apostille or pareja registration certificate

• certificate of joint registration with family members (certificado de padrón familiar)

• notarized consent from the second parent or proof of sole custody (in case of separate residence) jurado translation + apostille

• school certificate for school-age child (certificados de escolarización)

Technical Requirements for Documents

• Total size of all uploaded files must not exceed 15 MB, and maximum size of one file cannot be more than 6 MB

• Provide clear scans of documents, not photos

• Format of uploaded documents: pdf, jpg, tif, gif

• Scans of pages from one document must be combined into one file (for example, all passport pages in one pdf file)
